$45 CSN Giveaway from Jacob’s Kitchen

The generous people at the CSN stores have given me another great opportunity to give back to all of you, by offering a $45 gift card giveaway!!! Yay!!! If you are not familiar with the CSN online stores they have everything you could ever possibly need and more, from every chef’s tool you could ever imagine to these beautiful counter stools. I have purchased many a kitchen gadget from them, and have lots of other wish list items to go. They are fabulous! You can peruse their entire selection from all of their stores here, and I encourage you to do so.

To enter the giveaway simply leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Thanksgiving recipe (a brief description will suffice).

  23. Oh for sure it’s my mom’s turkey. She “marinates” it in brandy for two days before doing the other magic she works on it. It’s phenomenal.

  38. My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is by far, my grandmother’s sweet potato casserole. It is just a mouthful of goodness in every bite. With tons of pecans, marshmellows, and good ole- sweet taters!

    Bourbon Pecan Pie
    I also like adding 1 or 2 sweet potatoes – the white ones, not the orange yams – to the mashed potatoes. You can’t really tell they’re there, they add a nice subtle sweet flavor.

    My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is fresh cranberry sauce. I pick the cranberries wild here in Alaska during September, then I just put them in the food processor with a whole orange and sugar to taste.

    I love my daughter’s Cranberry relish – not sure of what all she puts it, except I know it has fresh cranberries, orange, dried cherries and a hint of cinnamon. So good.

    Pumpkin pie is must in our house. I use my grandmother’s recipe, and it is almost delicious served with lots of freshly whipped cream. (Sometimes for an added touch I will add maple or rum to the whipped cream too)

  153. For me it’s all about the pie! Pecan pie with bourbon & chocolate chips, using maple syrup instead of corn syrup…. doesn’t get any more decadent than that! Happy Thanksgiving. Hoping to be making a gluten-free version of the scones for Thanksgiving morning!
